GOT TO BE STARTIN’ SOMETHING: ENGINEERING CHANGE IN UPSTATE NEW YORK

KAREEM WALLACE IS ONLY MONTHS REMOVED FROM HIGH SCHOOL but has already set up his own vision on the campus of Syracuse University. The Men of Color of America Inc. is establishing the MOCA Next Gen Initiative to develop & invest in the next generation of organizational voices, leaders, and change agents.

.

In less than 3 Months on-campus, Mr. Wallace bootstrapped the mission of MOCA & bolstered campus-wide support for Black & Brown Male Scholars from an array of majors, like Law, Neuroscience, Engineering, Television Broadcasting.

.

The group formalized its affiliation with the broader mission of The Men of Color for America & fellow Men of Color Alliance Collegiate Factions on September 4, 2026, on a virtual meeting between student scholars, organization founders, and faculty leadership.

.

As the group prepares for a Spring 2027 launch, Thte Men of Color for America is collecting physical & financial donations to support proper planning & reinforce manual tool usage in Generation Z. Items such as Pens, Paper, Leadership-Based Books, Meeting Paraphernalia, and general office supplies would be greatly appreciated.

.
